These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Bogey Golfers League website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
The Platform is operated by Bogey Golfers League (“Bogey Golfers League”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
You may use the Platform only if you are legally permitted to do so.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You must keep your account information up to date.
You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person, or register on behalf of someone else without authority.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account.
You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account or any other security breach.
We may rely on instructions and actions taken through your account unless and until you tell us that your account has been compromised.
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or interfere with the operation of the Platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that any information you submit to the Platform is accurate and authorised.
Bogey Golfers League may, acting reasonably, review, verify, correct, reject, remove, or suspend any score, handicap-related information, ranking, or club data that appears inaccurate, unauthorised, misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, or inconsistent with applicable club, league, or Platform rules.
Leaderboards, standings, player history, and other calculated results may be updated, corrected, or recalculated where necessary.
Use of the Platform does not guarantee that any score, handicap, ranking, or club position will be accepted as official by any third party unless expressly stated by that third party.
If you submit, upload, post, or otherwise provide content or data to the Platform, including scores, profile information, club information, comments, images, or other materials (“User Content”), you confirm that:
You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Bogey Golfers League a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, and use that User Content for the purpose of operating, administering, improving, securing, and promoting the Platform.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including its software, branding, design, layout, databases, text, graphics, logos, and other content, are owned by or licensed to Bogey Golfers League and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, transmit, display, sell, license, or exploit any part of the Platform.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that we may collect, use, store, and disclose personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing relevant golf and league-related information within clubs or league structures where necessary for Platform functionality and administration.
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or services, or may depend on third-party infrastructure or integrations.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, systems, policies, or services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their own terms and policies.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform from time to time.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Scheduled maintenance, technical failures, connectivity problems, security events, or third-party service interruptions may affect availability.
We may also make changes to features, functionality, or content without notice where reasonably necessary.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that:

Termination or suspension does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bogey Golfers League makes no representations or warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any warranties of availability, accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of defects.
While we take reasonable steps to protect the Platform and user information, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bogey Golfers League and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, revenue, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform or these Terms will, to the extent permitted by law, not exceed the amount paid by you to Bogey Golfers League for use of the Platform in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if no amount was paid, a reasonable sum determined under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or overrides any rights or remedies that you may have under applicable law where such rights cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bogey Golfers League and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal costs, arising from or related to:
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to bring the updated Terms to your attention, such as by posting the revised version on the Platform or through another appropriate notice.
Your continued use of the Platform after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as severable and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
